	Layout plans are accurate and to scale but not detailed so the next stage is to prepare detailed construction drawings on which contractors can confidently base fixed price quotations and work from. These include setting out plans, technical drawings and materials specifications. In most cases this stage of the process will be straightforward but for large landscapes or complex projects it is crucial these drawings are accompanied by a detailed schedule of works before going to contractors for quotation. Technical plans for lighting and water features may also be required. Depending on complexity these may be drawn up by specialist contractors which will be quoted separately.
